今回は解答速報の第３弾として、２月１日に実施された関西学院大学・大問４の４択形式の英文法・語法問題を扱います。どれも基本的な問題であるため、正解をしたい問題であり、これから入試を控える受験生にも実力試しとしても、良問が揃っています。過去問で英文法・語法の出題がある大学を受験をする方はぜひ活用をしてみてください。また、解説も簡易的ですがありますので、今後の学習に役立ててもらえれば嬉しいです。

【解答・解説編】
(1) (B) 選択肢はすべて副詞なので、語彙問題。本文は「かろうじて授業に間に合った」という文意であるので、barelyを選ぶ。（※ slightly「わずかに」・rarely「めったに」・occasionally「ときどき」）
(2) (D) 熟語 native to A「A原産の」であることから、解答は(D)が正解（やや難）。
(3) (B) 空欄直後にfun（不可算名詞）があることから「how much」を選ぶ（※how many＋複数形）。
(4) (A) 助動詞の表現で「may（might）as well A as B「BするくらいならAする方がましだ」」。→ (A)
(5) (C) 関係代名詞非制限用法に関する問題。空欄の後ろはSが欠けた不完全文であり、先行詞は前文全体であることからwhichが正解（※関係代名詞非制限用法ではthatは使えない）。
(6) (B) 時制の問題で「for the past three hours」とあるので幅を表す完了時制を選ぶことになる。
