今回は解答速報の第４弾として、２月１１日に実施された慶應義塾大学・看護医療学部・大問１の４択形式の英文法・語法問題を扱います。私立の大学入試も残りわずかで多くは早慶を残すのみという時期になり、２月前半に受けた大学は合否の結果も分かる時期となっているでしょう。まだ受験がある人は、合否の結果に囚われることなく、最後まで諦めずに突き進んでいってもらいたいと思います。さて、今回扱う慶應義塾大学・看護医療学部の問題は、どれも基本的な問題であるため、正解をしたい問題であり、これから入試を控える受験生にも実力試しとしても、良問が揃っています。ぜひ、過去問で英文法・語法の出題がある大学を受験をする方はぜひ活用をしてみてください。

【解答・解説編】
(1) ④ 動詞の語法に関する問題で「appeal to 人「人にアピールする・抗議する」」であるから④が正解。
(2) ③ 文意は「彼女は左側通行に慣れている」という意味から、be used to 動名詞「～することに慣れている」が問われている設問。（※ used to 動詞の原形「（昔）かつて～だった」の区別）
(3) ③ 動詞accuseの用法。accuse A of B 「AをBで非難する」を受動態にした設問であるため、Aは本文の主語「He」となっているので、A is accused of Bの受動態になっている。
(4) ② 助動詞の問題であるため文意を考えると、「彼は遅れた。バスを乗り過ごしたに違いない」となるので、must have 過去分詞「～だったに違いない」が正解となる。また、「助動詞＋have＋過去分詞」は過去の時制を表すことには注意をしておきたい頻出のテーマである。
(5) ④ enoughの語法に関する問題。副詞としてenoughを用いるときは、「形容詞 enough to V原形「～するのに十分な」という用法から、④が正解。
(6) ③ 空欄直後にgo（動詞の原形）があることから、空欄には助動詞needを適切な形を空欄に入れる設問である。助動詞の否定は「助動詞＋not＋動詞の原形」であることから、③が正解。
(7) ① that節内の動詞が過去形であるため、主節は過去形になることから、①が正解。
(8) ③ 助動詞の問題であるので文意を考えると、「ハルカは幸せであるはずなのに、なぜ怒っているのか分かりません。」となることから助動詞shouldが正解となることから、③が正解。
(9) ② 熟語 be anxious about A「Aについて心配する」から②が正解。例えばbe happy to Aなどのようにbe動詞の後ろに形容詞がくることが分かっていれば、熟語と知らなくても解ける問題。

(12) ③ 仮定法の問題で、主節と副詞節は同一時間で起こっており、副詞節内がhad＋過去分詞 の形であることから「仮定法過去完了形（If S had done ～ , S 助動詞の過去形 have done …）」。
(13) ③ 文意から「今まで１時間を待っていた」ことになるので、現在完了進行形の③を選ぶ。
(14) ③ 熟語 on one’s way to A「Aに向かう途中（過程）で」から③のonが正解となる。
(15) ① 熟語 at the top of A 「Aの最高部（Aの一番上）」から①のat（1点を表すat）が正解。
(16) ② suggestの用法に関する問題であり、「suggest [that S＋V]」、「suggest＋動名詞」の形を取る。
(17) ② 空欄の後ろには「名詞」があることから、suchが正解。他の選択肢は後ろに名詞が置けない。
(18) ④ 空欄の後ろに名詞があり完全文であることから「関係代名詞の所有格」whoseが正解となる。
(19) ① 前置詞に関する問題でabout「～について」が正解。（※ forは「方向性」から「関連」を表す。）
(20) ① 文意から「不要な費用を削減する」となるので、熟語 cut down A 「Ａを削減する」が正解。
