今年も昨年に引き続き、可能な限り解答速報を英文法・語法を中心にあげていきたいます。今回は、２月２日関西学院大学、４択形式の英文法・語法問題である。どれも基本的な問題であり、全問正解をしたい問題である。解説も簡易的ではあるが、書いておりますので、今後の勉強に指針にしてもらえればと思います。

(1) object to A「Aに反対する」であるので、受動態にすると目的語の「A」が主語になるが、toは残るので、「A be動詞＋objected to by ～」という形になるので、④が正解。
(2) find＋O＋C 「OがCだと分かる」で、「OとCの能動または受動関係」で本問は考える。本問の「Oは形式目的語でit以下。「報告書には事故の原因に関する詳細がほとんどなかったことは、がっかりさせられた」となる、分詞形容詞disappointedが正解。
(3) 後ろに（単数）名詞のカタマリがあるので、関係代名詞whoseが正解。
(4) 形容詞＋as S V 「（譲歩のas）SはVだけれども」→ 同意表現：形容詞＋though S V
(5) イディオムに関する問題であり、More often than not「たいてい・通例」。
(6) 選択肢から仮定法の問題であり、命令文が後ろにあるので、shouldを含む④が正解。
(7) apologize to 人 for 理由「人に～という理由で謝る」→ ②が正解。
(8) イディオムに関する問題で、on behalf of A「Ａの代わりに・Ａを代表して」が正解。
(9) 空欄直後に「their practicing (所有格＋動名詞)」のカタマリがあるので、動名詞を後ろに取れる②が正解。order＋O＋不定詞で「～を要求する」、listened to A「Aを聞く」、 suggest＋動名詞「～を提案する」となるが、suggest to＋動名詞の形は取れないためNGであることも注意をしておきたい。
(10) イディオムに関する問題。get lost in thought「じっと考え込む・物思いにふける」
