昨日の法政大学T日程の文法・語法問題の解答速報を今回は書いてみたいと思います。今年のT日程では、ここ数年では長文読解4題構成からの変更もあり、試験本番では戸惑った受験生も多かったのではないだろうか。しかし、多くの受験生は他大学のことも考えて、英文法・語法問題集を使って練習をしていれば、標準的な問題があったので、15問中12問は取りたいところである。ここからは実際に問題を見ていくことにしよう。
大問1 つぎの(1)～(15)の各分の空所に入る最も適切なものを①～④の中からそれぞれ1つ選び、その記号を解答欄にマークせよ。

[解法のポイント]
(1) [熟語] have nothing to do with A 「Aとは全く関係がない」
(2) 設問でandの後ろに、「面接がある」と明記されているので、apply for A 「Aに応募する」という文意にあることから、④が正解である。
(3)「宝くじで1000万円が当選した」→「私はほとんど信じることが出来なかった」という文意になることから、scarcely「ほとんど～ない」(否定語)が正解となる。
(4) 選択肢から接続詞の問題であることが分かるので、空所の前後関係に着目をする。this countryと back home「故郷」との関係から、対比関係のwhereasが正解。
(5) 他の選択肢と比較したときに、comfortably「快適に」が正解となる。

(6) 空欄の直前のwonder「～を疑問に思う」という意味から、後ろには名詞or名詞節を置く必要があるので、後ろにifを置いて、wonder [if S V]「SはVであるか疑問に思う」の形にするべきである。(※ 名詞節内で接続詞thatを用いる場合は、thinkやknowなどの決まった動詞でのみ用いることが出来て、wonderは後ろに置くことが出来ない)
(7) 文意から「大人でさえもプラスチックボールでは遠くに飛ばすことができない」となるので、even「～でさえ」が含まれている②が正解となる。
(8) 空所の前にfunny feeling「おかしな感じ」とあるので、「信頼できない」という文意。
① 言い換えれば ② お返しに ③ 了解しました ④ 最後に
(9) [語句] a bunch of flowers 「たくさんの花 → 花束」(※ a flock of A 「Aの群れ」)
(10) 分数表現は、「分子を基数・分母を序数」で表し、分子が2以上の場合は分母が複数形になるので注意は必要である。よって、①が正解となる。(※ theは不要である)
(11) 知覚動詞hearに着目して、「知覚動詞＋O＋動詞の原形or現在分詞or過去分詞」となり、本問ではher sing [動詞の原形]となっている④が正解である。
(12)「今週の終わりまでに」という表現があることから、未来完了形にするべき。
(13) [語彙] ① 同意しない ② 認める ③ 記録する ④ 延期する → ②が正解。
(14)「私のペンを使いますか？」→ with my ownという表現から、自分自身のものを使ったことが分かるので、① No, thanksが正解となる。
(15) 空欄の直前内容で、It was a disaster.「それは災害でした」と言っているので、マイナス表現が入ることから、③ or ④になり、文意から④が正解となる。
